Oliver 70 row crop rear wheel clamp bolts

Postby Lorrick » Thu Nov 22, 2018 8:13 pm

I hope someone can help me out. The 1941 70 Row Crop I have does not have any bolts in the rear wheel clamps ! I can make some up, but are they a straightforward bolt or do they have a cut away on the shaft that allows the wheel to be slide on the shaft until tightened up. ?
Any help welcome

Regular bolts, they clamp down outside of the axle. Originals were square head.

Hi Terry
Sorry about the time getting back to you. I know the type you mean but these are a bit different as they are not split but solid hubs that have an off centre hole that just clips the splined shaft so it looks like it should be a cotter pin or something similar to what you find on push bike pedals?
Regards
