Super 99 Article?

Postby oliver950 » Mon Jan 25, 2010 12:53 pm

Just wondered if there was plans for a Super 99 feature, the gas production numbers would be interesting.

I've been getting that request a lot recently. How does the Nov/Dec issue sound?

Chris,
A few years back when you were good enough to show your Oliver collection to me, you also pointed out your father's "racing" plow. I sure would like to hear more about that.....what makes it a racing plow, where when, etc.

I'm guessing you mean his plow he used in the plowing competitions? It wasn't a race so much, but they did only have a certain amount of time to get their land done. We recently found a bunch of pictures and articles from when dad won those matches, and when he went to Canada and Austria for the World matches. I've got plenty for an article, and have been thinking about doing it, but don't want to take up too much of the magazine with my personal Oliver stuff. Based on the surveys we have gotten back from the latest issue, we've already pushed the boundaries on that.

Sounds like an interesting article to me, too. I'd like to read about your Dad's competition plow also.
