548, 588, 598 Plows

Looking to move up from my 565 to a White to cover more ground and mainly spring reset. Sucks making nice straight lines and having to back up. Looking at a 7 bottom 548. Really interested in the 598 SAR but they are scarce and pricy for something I'm only going to use every 2-3 years. My question is how stalks move through the 548/49 vs. a 588/98. Going to yank whatever I do with either the 2255 or 2-180, so size is of no relavance. Curious about distance between the beams and plugging up with the 548 and 18" bottoms.

Thanks,

Sean

I use a 548, with 4-18" bottoms and don't have any trouble passing stocks through. It works well for me, but I only use at plowing days and demonstrations. Nice plow, and does a good job.

My grandpa used to use what you are using. I wonder what he would be using now if he's still here. :(
