Oliver 70 Wide Front End

Postby mldld1 » Tue Jun 07, 2016 7:13 pm

Good evening, I am in the process of taking the front end apart on my 1948 Oliver 70. There appears to be quite a bit of play between the axle and center carrier. I am sure that a bushing can be put in there but I am not sure how it comes a part and I am trying my best to avoid damaging anything. Could someone please tell me how they took theirs apart please.

I am also looking to see if someone may have both the left and right steering knuckles (BA715, BA717) and maybe the Knuckle with pivot. The grooves on the tops of these are just about worn off. If not perhaps someone could recommend something that they did to make these work.

Maybe it is just easier to see if someone has a decent wide front end for sale

Thank you for your help
